Classic Egypt

The essential 7–10 day Egypt itinerary: Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, Luxor temples, and a Nile cruise to Aswan.

What is the Classic Egypt itinerary?

Classic Egypt is the definitive first-timer journey: the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, the treasures of the Egyptian Museum, the temples of Karnak and Luxor, the Valley of the Kings, and a graceful sail down the Nile to Aswan with optional Abu Simbel. It is our most-booked itinerary because it covers Egypt's essentials in a sensible, comfortable flow.

What is included in the Classic Egypt tour?

  • Egyptologist guiding throughout all historical sites
  • 3 to 4 night Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan
  • Private transport, all transfers, and domestic logistics
  • Entrance fees at every featured site, including Abu Simbel option
  • Comfortable hotel nights in Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan
  • Breakfast daily and listed meals on the cruise

Where does the itinerary travel?

The route runs Cairo and Giza, then south to Luxor (Karnak, Luxor Temple, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon), a cruise through Edfu and Kom Ombo, and finishes in Aswan (Philae Temple, High Dam, Nubian villages) with an optional early flight to Abu Simbel.

How many days do I need, and when to go?

Most Classic Egypt tours run 7 to 10 days, with optional extensions to the Red Sea. October to April offers the best weather; visits avoid the summer heat while still enjoying full site access.
